Pulsgram

Deleting your account

You delete your account from the app in a few taps, or by email. What goes, what stays and what to do first.

Updated:

First

  1. Ask for your data archive, if you want it: Profile → ⬇ Download my data. Deleting the account deletes the archive too. See Exporting your data.
  2. Cancel Puls+ in the store, if you have it. Deleting the account does not stop the subscription. See Cancel.

From the app

  1. Go to the Profile tab, then the settings card.
  2. Tap Delete account, the red row at the end.
  3. Read the screen and type your username to confirm.
  4. Tap Delete the account permanently.

You are signed out on every device right away. The deletion runs in the background and usually finishes within minutes. There is no grace period and it cannot be undone.

The part nobody expects

Messages kept with Keep and Moments belong to both people. When you delete your account, they disappear from the other person's app too. Your messages also disappear from groups. If these things matter to someone, tell them first.

Without the app
