Blocking and reporting

Blocking is instant and one sided. Reporting sends us the case, and for a reported message it can also send a copy of it.

Block

Blocking is instant and one sided:

  • the person can no longer write to you and is not told;
  • you disappear from their search and from contact matching;
  • in a shared group you no longer see each other's messages;
  • your Moments are hidden for both of you.

You can unblock them any time.

Report

You can report a person, a message, a group message or a Daily Pulse. You pick a reason and can add a few words.

For a reported text message, the app can also send us a copy of the text, as your phone decrypted it, so a moderator can see what you mean. For an end-to-end encrypted message, that is the only way its content reaches us, and it happens only when you choose it. End-to-end encrypted photos, clips, voice and files do not reach us in readable form, not even when you report them.

What happens next

We look at reports. The outcome can range from nothing to a permanent ban. We do not send you a report about what we did with someone else's account.

You can both block and report.

In danger?

If someone is in danger, call the police: 112 in Romania and across the EU. We are a messaging app, not an emergency service.

Still stuck?

Write to us, we read every email.

At contact@pulsgram.com the people who built the app answer, usually within two working days.
