Scratch message, Echo, Heartbeat and the other chat gestures

Small tools that make a chat feel alive: the scratch message, the Echo that comes back on a chosen date, the heartbeat, the question for both of you and more.

Updated:

Besides text, photos, video, voice messages and files, one to one chats have a few gestures.

Scratch message

A message hidden under a silver layer. The other person scratches it with a finger, reads it once and then it disappears. 3 a day free, unlimited with Puls+. See also Messages seen only once.

Echo

A sealed message that comes back into the chat on the date you choose. Free: text, 30 or 90 days, 3 a day. With Puls+: photo or voice too, up to 5 years. Until its date nobody can open it, not even the sender. If the chat loses its history in the meantime, the Echo goes with it.

Heartbeat

No words: the other phone vibrates like a heart.

Question for both of you

You both answer, and the answers show only after you have both answered. It also appears on its own when the pulse drops under 60 BPM.

Surprise

It appears on its own in chats that are cooling down. You open it together within 2 hours and it can be a question, a rare effect, a BPM boost or, now and then, a defibrillator. With Puls+ you can send one a day yourself.

Nudge

A poke that reminds the other person to write. Both phones vibrate. It works once every 6 hours in the same chat.

Super reactions

Big, full screen reactions. A few a day free; the gold ones are for Puls+.

Free limits reset every day. The app shows them right before you use a feature.
